About me…
The basics are that my name is Zovig and I’m a woman who lives in New York City that works in advertising. I’ve got brown hair and brown eyes. But those aren’t interesting details. I’m a voracious reader, talk non-stop, have mild insomnia, addicted to Bravo reality TV and the Travel Channel, and have five (yes, New Yorker’s five) closets full of clothes, shoes, and all accessories. The clothes still spill out, they still get stuffed, they still get pushed so far back into the closet that I (shamefully) forget sometimes that I own them. But I love my “stuff.”
In my adult life, I have always wanted to “help” but never knew how.
And now I do.
I will take those months of archived fashion magazines, my compulsion to put fashion before most other expenses, and my need to get other women excited about clothes the way I am, and pour it into a business that contributes to society and girl-power in my own, unique way.

Being a completely novice blogger, is this a place where I can seek advice, like what does one do with a collection of nice pants that fit several years ago? Is there any going back? Are there any effective tactics for dealing with the remorse of seeing those pants every morning???
or is this not the place for that?

Just stopped by to see what’s new. I joined “the biggest loser” contest with friends and after 3 months, gained 3 pounds. We are doing a second round now. Today is my first day. It’s not going well. My little pants collection has not proven to be effective inspiration. Yet. But I loved seeing some bright colors on your blog – guess I will go shop for my size one more season..

I just discovered your blog and I really like it! Unlike a lot of other fashion advice columns that I have seen, you show examples of outfits/colors/combinations that you talk about. I grew up wearing a really horrible school uniform for 12 years, so trying to incorporate colors into my wardrobe is a challenging enough ordeal! Thanks a lot for all your advice, and I look forward to seeing more “Chic Girl of the Day” inspirations.
